We just returned from the King's Arms & were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food on offer. All 3 meals were perfectly cooked & beautifully presented. We ordered a half chicken roast, the grilled sea bass & the classic fish & chips. Compliments to the chef, highly recommend eating here!!

I agree with traveladviser - as a reguler tourist I avoid it as I have never felt welcome there. Shame as it looks just the sort of pub I would like.

A High street pub more suited to locals than visitors to the town. A little rough round the edges and not known for its fine ales. As far as i'm aware it doesnt serve food. The interior is traditional, with tiled floors and dark mahogany furnishings. Not a place that I frequent much anymore as it has a reputation for attracting the local drunks!!
